Product Sync Issues

Feedy keeps a copy of your Shopify products. It updates that copy:

  • When you install the app (a full sync).
  • In real time, when Shopify tells Feedy a product was created, updated or deleted, or its stock changed.
  • When you click Sync Products on the Dashboard or the Products page.

See Syncing Products for how this works.

  1. Go to Products (or the Dashboard).
  2. Click Sync Products.
  3. Wait for “Products synced successfully”. Feedy also re-checks validation for every product.
  4. Regenerate any feeds that need the update.

Check your sync settings:

  1. Go to Settings → Product Sync.
  2. Make sure Enable automatic product sync is on.
  3. Under Real-time Updates, turn on the events you want: Sync when products are created, Sync when products are updated, Sync when products are deleted and Sync on inventory changes.
  4. Click Save.

Even with real-time updates on, your feeds only change when they’re regenerated. Set up a schedule so feeds pick up changes regularly.

Feedy uses the first variant’s inventory for each product. If the first variant is out of stock but others are in stock, the product shows as out of stock, and Exclude out of stock products removes it. See Stock, Images and Drafts.

They’re synced, but left out of feeds by default. Turn on Include draft products or Include archived products in Settings → Product Inclusion Rules.

  • Click Sync Products again. Temporary Shopify API problems usually clear up.
  • Turn on Product sync failures in Email Notifications to be told about failures.
  • If it keeps failing, email support@lenuslabs.com.
