AI Product Highlights
Product highlights are short bullet points about a product’s key features or benefits. Feedy adds them to Google Shopping feeds as product_highlight. You can add 2 to 10 highlights per product. Feedy’s validation recommends 3 to 5.
Generate highlights with AI
Section titled “Generate highlights with AI”- Go to Products and open a product.
- In the Product Highlights section, click ✨ Generate with AI.
- Feedy suggests 5 highlights. Tick the ones you want.
- Click Apply N Highlights, or Dismiss to discard them.
- Edit any highlight in the Highlight 1, Highlight 2 … fields if needed.
- Click Save.
✨ AI Optimize All also suggests highlights, but only if the product has none yet.
Write good highlights
Section titled “Write good highlights”- Keep each one short and specific, for example “Machine washable” or “Fits laptops up to 15 inches”.
- Describe the product, not your store. Leave out shipping offers and promotions.
- Check every AI highlight for accuracy. When your product data is thin, the AI has less to work with, so add detail to your Shopify description first.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Generating highlights uses 1 AI credit when suggestions are returned. See AI Credits & Usage.
- Highlights are saved in Feedy, not in Shopify, and are included in Google Shopping feeds.
- Products with no highlights, or fewer than 3, get a recommendation in validation. It’s a suggestion only, so the product stays in your feeds.
