Variants
Many Shopify products have variants, such as sizes or colors. Here’s how Feedy handles them today.
One feed item per product
Section titled “One feed item per product”Each product appears once in a feed. Feedy uses the product’s first variant (the first one listed in Shopify) for:
- price
- SKU
- barcode (GTIN)
- stock level, which decides “in stock” or “out of stock”
Other variants are not listed as separate items.
Group related products
Section titled “Group related products”If you list related products separately (for example one product per color), you can link them for Google Shopping:
- Open each product from Products.
- In Product Attributes, enter the same Item Group ID on each.
- Click Save.
Variant settings on the product page
Section titled “Variant settings on the product page”The product page has a Variants section, and the Products list can expand a product to show its variants. There you can set per-variant values such as Include in feed, GTIN / Barcode, MPN, Color, Size and Material.
