Release Notes

The main changes to Feedy McFeed Feed, newest first.

Plans and billing

  • When a free trial or a cancelled plan ends, your feeds no longer stop. Your store moves to the free Starter plan: Google Shopping and Facebook feeds keep working with up to 50 products each and are regenerated automatically, while TikTok, Pinterest and Microsoft feed URLs return “Feed not found” until you upgrade. The Billing page shows Free plan. See Free Trial.
  • Plan cards now list only real plan differences: products per feed, AI credits, platforms, bulk AI and support level (email on Starter and Growth, priority on Scale and Pro). See Plans & Pricing.
  • Running AI on more than one product at once (bulk AI) is now a Scale and Pro feature, as the plans describe. AI on a single product works on every plan.

AI

  • Every AI action checks your credits before it runs. AI Optimize All, short titles, highlights and bulk runs no longer go ahead without enough credits; a bulk run does as many products as your credits cover and tells you how many. See AI Credits.

Feeds

  • Pause this product now leaves the product out of all your feeds, on every platform. The Expiration date help text now explains that Google stops showing the product after that date and that it stays in the feed.
  • Sale price: enter the amount only. Feedy adds the feed’s currency, so prices no longer show the currency code twice.
  • By Collection feeds now pick up products added to (or removed from) a collection each time the feed is regenerated. You no longer need to re-save the feed’s Products card.
  • Product links now use your store’s primary domain (for example www.your-store.com) instead of the myshopify.com address.
  • Importing a Feedy configuration (JSON) file keeps the original feed’s platform. Importing a feed file (XML, CSV or TSV) creates a Google Shopping feed, and the import dialog now says so.
  • Product counts on the Feeds page are now accurate. CSV and TSV feeds whose descriptions contain line breaks no longer show too many products, and feeds no longer show Outdated straight after regenerating because of paused products or products with errors.

Google Merchant Center

  • Direct upload now sends the feed’s own products (its selection, filters and plan limit) in the feed’s currency, with your GTIN, brand and Google Product Category from Feedy and stock status from Shopify. Before, it sent every published product in US dollars without GTINs. See Direct Upload.

Sync, settings and emails

  • The Dashboard’s Sync Products button now always runs, even when automatic sync is turned off.
  • The unused Full sync interval setting was removed. Feedy keeps products up to date through Shopify’s real-time updates and the Sync Products buttons.
  • The daily summary’s Report time now says that it’s in UTC.
  • Validation error alert emails are now sent when a feed’s platform has as many errors as your Error threshold. See Email Notifications.
  • Dashboard tips and validation suggestions no longer quote performance figures we can’t back up.
  • The app is now called Feedy McFeed Feed everywhere: in the app, in emails and in these docs.
  • Email notifications now come from support@lenuslabs.com.
  • After your first feed has generated, Shopify may ask you to leave a review on the App Store.
  • Security and reliability update.
    • Feed URLs stop working once the app is uninstalled or the subscription has ended (changed on 1 November 2026: feeds now continue on the free Starter plan).
    • Protected feeds are never stored in shared caches.
    • Stronger encryption for stored credentials.
    • Safer FTP/SFTP delivery: pushes to private network addresses are blocked, and SFTP server identity is checked.
  • Product links in feeds now use each product’s handle.
  • Feeds no longer show “undefined” for default shipping times.
  • AI suggestions now use a newer Google Gemini model, with extra checks on what the AI returns.
  • Feedy moved to its new address, feedy.lenuslabs.com.
  • Billing now runs through Shopify’s managed pricing: you choose, change and cancel your plan on Shopify’s own pricing page.
  • Validation warnings on the product page link straight to the field that needs fixing.
  • Product names in the Products list are clickable.
  • Plans and billing: Starter (free), Growth, Scale and Pro plans with a 14-day free trial.
  • Plan limits: products per feed, AI credits per month, and the platforms you can create feeds for.
  • New platforms: Facebook and Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Microsoft Advertising feeds, each with its own validation rules.
  • Top and bottom performing products on the dashboard.
  • Import Feed: create a feed from an existing feed file (XML, CSV or TSV), or from a configuration file exported from Feedy. Includes an import history.
  • Export a feed’s configuration as a JSON file.
  • Feeds list improvements: platform, format and schedule indicators, clearer status badges, an actions menu on each row, and Regenerate selected for several feeds at once.
  • Redesigned Dashboard, Settings and Google Merchant Center pages.
