Shipping and Tax
The Shipping & Tax card adds shipping costs and tax rates to a feed. Google Merchant Center can also take shipping and tax from your account settings, so this is optional. Use it when you want the feed itself to carry the values.
Add a shipping zone
Section titled “Add a shipping zone”- Open the feed and open the Shipping & Tax card.
- Under Shipping Zones, click Add zone.
- Choose the destination Country and enter the Price, for example
5.99 USD. - Optional: open Delivery options to set a Service name (for example “Standard”), Handling time (minimum and maximum days) and Transit time (minimum and maximum days).
- Add more zones for other countries if you need them.
- Optional: set a Shipping Label (for example
oversized) that applies to all zones. You can use it in Merchant Center shipping rules. - Click Save, then Regenerate the feed.
You can add up to 100 shipping zones, which is Google’s limit.
How zones are used
Section titled “How zones are used”- Each zone becomes a shipping entry for every product in the feed.
- Handling and transit times are taken from the first zone.
- If a product has its own shipping set on its page in Feedy, the product’s shipping is used instead of the feed’s zones.
Add a tax region
Section titled “Add a tax region”- In the same card, under Tax Regions, click Add region.
- Choose the Country and enter the Tax Rate (%), for example
8.25. - Tick Tax applies to shipping if tax is charged on shipping too.
- Click Save, then Regenerate the feed.
You can add up to 100 tax regions.
