Direct Product Upload to GMC
Instead of a feed URL, Feedy can send products straight to Google Merchant Center (GMC) through Google’s API. This needs a GMC connection with an API data source.

What gets uploaded
Section titled “What gets uploaded”For each product, Feedy sends:
- the Shopify title and description
- a product link on your store’s primary domain (for example
https://www.your-store.com/products/<handle>) - the main image and additional images
- the first variant’s price, in the feed’s currency (auto-upload) or the Currency in Settings (manual upload). Feedy doesn’t convert prices.
- availability based on the first variant’s stock (in stock or out of stock)
- the GTIN you set in Feedy, or the first variant’s barcode
- the brand you set in Feedy, or the Shopify vendor
- the Google Product Category you set on the product, or the feed’s default category (auto-upload)
- the first variant’s SKU as MPN, the product type, and condition “new”
Each product needs at least one image and a price, or its upload fails.
Upload products manually
Section titled “Upload products manually”- Go to Products.
- Select the products (up to 1,000 per upload).
- In the bulk actions, click Upload to GMC.
- Choose the Target Country and Content Language.
- Start the upload. It runs in the background and Feedy shows a message when it finishes or fails.
Upload to GMC only appears when Google Merchant Center is connected.
Upload automatically after each regeneration
Section titled “Upload automatically after each regeneration”- Open a feed and expand Basic Settings.
- Tick Auto-upload to Google Merchant Center, then save.
After every regeneration of that feed (manual or scheduled), Feedy uploads products using the feed’s target country and language. The feed header shows GMC auto-upload.
Check the results
Section titled “Check the results”Go to the Google Merchant Center page in Feedy and click Sync Now to see which products were approved. See Understanding GMC Product Status.
