AI Credits & Usage

AI features in Feedy McFeed Feed use AI credits. Every plan includes a monthly allowance.

During the 14-day free trial you get the Growth allowance. See Plans & Pricing.

1 credit = 1 AI suggestion that Feedy produces. If the AI has nothing to change, no credit is used.

ActionCredits used
✨ AI on a title, short title or category1
✨ Expand or ✨ Rewrite on a description1
✨ Generate with AI for highlights1
✨ AI Optimize All on a product pageUp to 5: title, description, and a category, short title and highlights if the product doesn’t have them
Bulk Optimize with AI (Scale and Pro)1 per suggestion: up to 3 per product if you tick titles, descriptions and categories

Credits are used when the suggestion is generated, even if you don’t apply it later.

Feedy checks your balance before every AI action:

  • ✨ AI Optimize All needs enough credits for every field it will try (up to 5). If you have fewer, it doesn’t start and tells you how many it needs.
  • A bulk run on several products (Scale and Pro only) processes as many products as your remaining credits cover, then tells you how many it did. With 0 credits it doesn’t start.

Example: Bulk optimizing 10 products with titles and descriptions ticked uses up to 20 credits.

  1. Go to Settings and open Billing & Subscription.
  2. Under Usage This Month, the AI Credits bar shows credits used and your limit, plus the date they reset.

Feedy shows an upgrade banner when you’ve used 80% of your credits.

Credits reset monthly, in line with your billing period. On the free Starter plan they reset every 30 days. Unused credits don’t roll over.

Feedy shows “You’ve used all your AI credits for this billing period” (or how many credits an action needs and how many you have left) and doesn’t run the AI until your credits reset. To get more credits, upgrade your plan. Extra credit packs aren’t available.

  • Optimize the products that matter most first, such as products with validation errors or the Needs Attention list on the dashboard.
  • In bulk runs, tick only the options you need.
  • Use one-field AI buttons instead of ✨ AI Optimize All when you only need one field.
