Optimizing Titles with AI

Feedy’s AI can suggest a richer product title for your Google Shopping feed, and a shorter version for ads with limited space.

The AI looks at your current Shopify title, vendor, product type and tags, and suggests a title that:

  • Puts brand, product name and key details (color, size, material, style) in that order
  • Uses up to Google’s 150-character title limit
  • Avoids ALL CAPS, excess punctuation and repeated words

If the AI can’t improve the title, you won’t get a suggestion and no credit is used.

  1. Go to Products and open a product.
  2. Next to Product Title, click ✨ AI.
  3. Review the suggestion, then click Accept, Edit or Dismiss.
  4. Click Save.

The result is saved as the product’s custom feed title. Leave Product Title blank to use the Shopify title.

The Short Title field (maximum 65 characters) is used in ads with limited space.

  1. On the product page, click ✨ AI next to Short Title.
  2. Accept, edit or dismiss the suggestion, then click Save.

✨ AI Optimize All also suggests a short title, but only if the product doesn’t have one yet.

  1. Go to Products and select the products.
  2. Click Optimize N with AI.
  3. Tick Product titles (SEO & clarity) and click Start Optimization.
  4. Review the suggestions on the Titles tab, then apply the ones you approve.

Each run handles up to 15 products. See Introduction to AI Features.

  • Each suggestion uses 1 AI credit. See AI Credits & Usage.
  • Your Shopify product title is never changed.
  • Custom titles are used by Google Shopping feeds. Other platforms use the Shopify title.
  • Custom or short titles under 70 characters show a “short title” warning in validation.
