Feed URLs and Access

Every Feedy feed has its own permanent URL. Ad platforms such as Google Merchant Center, Meta Commerce Manager, TikTok, Pinterest and Microsoft Merchant Center fetch your products from it.

https://feedy.lenuslabs.com/feeds/<feed-id>.<format>
  • <feed-id> is the feed’s unique ID.
  • <format> is xml, tsv or csv, matching the feed’s Feed Format.

The URL stays the same when you regenerate the feed or change its settings. If you change the feed’s format, the ending of the URL changes too, so update it on your ad platform.

  • On the feed page, click Copy URL.
  • Click Preview to open the feed in a new tab (not available for protected feeds).

You can add options to the end of the URL:

AddResult
?format=csv (or xml, tsv)Builds the feed in that format on the fly
?download=trueDownloads the file instead of showing it in the browser

For example: https://feedy.lenuslabs.com/feeds/<feed-id>.tsv?format=csv&download=true.

On the Feeds list, the row’s actions menu has Download as TSV, CSV (Excel/Sheets) or XML to do this for you.

Public feed URLs can be cached for up to 1 hour. After you regenerate, a platform or browser may still see the previous version for a short while. Protected feeds (with a token) aren’t cached.

To protect the service, each IP address can fetch:

  • Public feeds: up to 100 requests per minute
  • Protected feeds: up to 30 requests per minute

Ad platforms fetch far less often than this, so normal use isn’t affected.

By default anyone with the URL can read the feed. To require a secret token, turn on Feed Security. Protected feeds need ?token=YOUR_TOKEN in the URL or an Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN header.

A feed URL returns “Feed not found” when:

  • The feed has been deleted
  • The app has been uninstalled (this deletes your feeds)
  • The feed is for TikTok, Pinterest or Microsoft and your store is on the free Starter plan (for example, after a trial or cancelled plan ended). Google Shopping and Facebook feeds keep working on Starter. Choose Growth or higher to bring the other URLs back. See Free Trial.

It returns “Feed content not available” if the feed has never been generated successfully. Click Regenerate.

Open the URL in your browser. You should see the feed’s contents (XML shows as structured data, TSV and CSV as text). If you see an error, check the list above.
