App Settings

Open Settings from the app menu. Settings are grouped into collapsible sections. When you change something, a Save and Discard bar appears at the bottom of the page, and a banner reminds you that you have unsaved changes.

These pre-fill the feed creation wizard. Changing them doesn’t change feeds you’ve already created.

SettingWhat it does
Target countryThe country new feeds are set to
Target languageThe language new feeds are set to
CurrencyThe currency code new feeds use for prices
Feed formatSaved with your settings. The wizard picks its own recommended format (TSV, or CSV for TikTok), which you can change

These decide which products can go into your feeds, across all feeds.

SettingDefaultWhat it does
Include products without imagesOffWhen off, products with no images are left out
Include out-of-stock productsOnWhen off, products whose first variant has 0 stock are left out
Include draft productsOffWhen on, products that aren’t published to your online store can be included
Include archived productsOffWhen on, products you’ve archived in Shopify can be included

A feed’s own Exclude out of stock products and Exclude products without images options (in the feed’s Products card) take priority over the first two settings. Feeds created with the wizard always save their own choice for both, so in practice the first two settings here only affect feeds created by duplicating or importing. To change stock or image rules for a feed, use its Products card. The draft and archived settings only exist here and apply to every feed. See Stock, Images & Drafts.
