Introduction to AI Features

Feedy McFeed Feed uses Google Gemini AI to suggest better product data for your Google Shopping feeds. You always review a suggestion before it’s used.

Accepted suggestions are saved as Feedy feed settings for the product (custom title, custom description, Google Product Category, short title, highlights). Your Shopify product titles and descriptions stay exactly as they are.

  1. Go to Products and click a product.
  2. Click ✨ AI next to Product Title or Short Title, ✨ Expand or ✨ Rewrite above Product Description, or ✨ AI next to Google Product Category.
  3. Review the suggestion, its reason and its confidence score. Click Accept to copy it into the field, Edit to change it first, or Dismiss.
  4. Click Save.
  1. On the product page, click ✨ AI Optimize All in the Feed Quality card.
  2. Feedy suggests a title, a description, and (only if the product doesn’t already have them) a Google category, a short title and highlights.
  3. Tick the suggestions you want and click Apply Selected.
  4. Click Save.

Running AI on more than one product at once (bulk AI) needs the Scale or Pro plan. On Starter and Growth, including the free trial, select one product at a time.

  1. Go to Products. Select products, or select none to use every product in the list.
  2. Click Optimize with AI (or Optimize All with AI).
  3. Choose what to optimize: Product titles, Product descriptions, Google Product Categories.
  4. Click Start Optimization. Feedy processes up to 15 products per run.
  5. In Review AI Suggestions, approve, edit or reject each suggestion, then click Apply N Changes.

Bulk results are saved straight away when you apply them. You can also start a bulk run from the dashboard (AI Bulk Optimize, or the Needs Attention list when Google Merchant Center performance data is available).

If you don’t have enough credits for every selected product, Feedy runs as many products as your credits cover and tells you how many it did.

Each AI suggestion that Feedy produces uses 1 AI credit. If the AI has nothing to change, no credit is used. Every AI action checks your credits before it runs, so you’re told when you don’t have enough instead of getting a partial or empty result. See AI Credits & Usage.

  • Review every suggestion. The AI works only from your title, description, vendor, product type and tags, so check facts such as sizes and materials.
  • Fill in your Shopify product type, vendor and tags first. Better input gives better suggestions.
  • Start with a few products before running large batches.
